SEASON OF CORNFLOWERS (Explanation and Visual Aid)

Cornflower «< This is the parts of a Cornflower. Now you know. I really love scientific drawings. I imagine a botanist out in the field for hours erasing drawing and then erasing again. I supose I love how it seems to tie the two parts of the brain together so well. How it keeps the balance of both the logical and the creative.

Orginally the story, Season of Cornflowers, was going to be a part of a mini series with each “story” kept to only a page or two. It was to be more about the meaning that the culmination of the stories give than each individual work. I am not sure will this will go, as I am really good at coming up with abstract ideas, as long as I dont have to put them into practice.

This is not my favorite work. I am worried that I already feel this way, because usually when I am done writing something I at least enjoy it for a few days before I find it completely putrid. Maybe this time, I will surprise myself, and find that I hate it a little less each day instead.

Anyway. I am posting this first draft, to keep myself honest, and to keep me writing. “Is it in good faith?” Let’s hope so. Or at least let’s hope it will be soon. I would really love for my abstract idea of this story and for the reality of it to line up soon…
